CGSphere.com submissions
CGSphere.com is a very interesting CG art project. Each participant gets a template scene to create a sphere-based object in it and submit the result to the website to get the work rated by other users. Here I'll present my submissions.
The project allows for much artistic freedom as well as the free choice of applications to create the works with, however, there are some rules:
The grid-plane has to be left unchanged and be used as a background
The camera may not be moved or modified
The images have to be submitted in a resolution of 800x800 and pixel aspect ratio of 1.0
The final "sphere" has to match the original sphere of the template scene in the scene as good as possible in size and location.
